We Power Young People
YMAN is a youth power-building organization in the Inland Empire. We run small, transformative mentoring, education, and wellness programs, then we turn what young people create into research, curricula, records, and stories the whole world can hear.
Our programs stay intimate on purpose. Small cohorts. Real relationships. Paid work. What scales isn't headcount — it's voice. The report, the music, the podcast, the curricula. Built by young people. Heard far beyond them.
Young people don't need to be saved. They need to be heard.

Programs with a Next Step
A hands-on, six-week creative program for young artists ready to take their craft seriously. Coaching. Compensation. A public archive for every project. Graduates earn first access to the Mental Health EP in the spring.
A mentorship, wellness, and leadership program by and for Black girls and young women. Small cohorts. Deep investment. A model we're turning into curricula so this work reaches girls we'll never meet in person.
YMAN's most ambitious long-horizon offering: a transformative international experience earned through a year of preparation. Summer 2027. Cohort identified this year from within our programs.
● Camp Life
State of IE Youth Report
Over 1,000 young people across the Inland Empire. Six months of townhalls, focus groups, and school visits. The first community-rooted report on how young people in this region are actually doing, written with them, not about them. Releases October 2026 in a multimedia format.
